Our Story

Greenock Food Collective started as a vision to make quality local food available for our communities. Beginning in Bruce County, beef was the natural place to start.

Founders of Greenock Beef, James Wilton and Adam Dales, both grew up in Bruce County, Ontario. They went to the same high school, played the same sports and most importantly, both grew up on family owned and operated beef farms. They both provide their own unique perspective to the cause. Adam is a dedicated producer focused on regenerative farming and humane animal handling practices to raise his herd of cattle, while James focuses on the details which bring together an amazing customer experience so they can enjoy the best of the bounty of Bruce County and Surrounding area.

Using the values from producing high quality beef, we began working with other great local producers and developing our ability to prepare foods in house so we could provide a broader offering of local foods. Today, as Greenock Food Collective, we are happy to provide a full offering of food and food services that focus on quality, community and environmental stewardship; so our customers can feel good about the food they and their family eat.
